Certainly, the Saudi women have finally got the opportunity in watching the football match at their country’s stadium. It was not easy peasy because it was only they knew it. However, change is the law of nature. Everything changes with the passing of time. Even Saudi Arabia has now opened its stadia for the veiled women by accepting the changes.
Since the month of October 2017, the feeling of freedom was realised by the Saudi women. For the longest time, they were barred from such kind of activity. Viewing the matches in the stadium was also one among the lists. But now this restriction did no longer exist in that country at this time.
They can now enter the stadium and watch local, national or international matches.
For the first time in forever, the Saudi women were contented with their presence on the King Abdullah Sports City stadium in Jeddah. They enjoyed the match between the two local football teams. However, they were separated out in the stands from the men-only crowd in the so-called family section.
This should have meant much to them, but their long hope has fulfilled. They must have always thought of such condition. It was a big deal for them in that oil-rich country. They had once forgotten what this feeling of free would be felt like.
Everything has changed with the time of the year. The male only venues of King Fahad stadium in Riyadh, King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, and Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd stadium in Dammam were now opened to accommodate the women spectators.
They take pride in themselves on the very fact they did not instantly jump from nothingness to modernity. Yet they must be satisfied with this transformation taking place in the Kingdom. Are they not touching the modernist now?
