In an unprecedented move of embracing the latest technology, government has pre-ordered the much-anticipated ‘New iPhone’, which reportedly has a fingerprint scanner in it.
“Most of our ministers are illiterate and use to provide fingerprints as their signature. The new iPhone is a perfect phone for such people,” revealed Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Manish Tiwari.
The minister further added that the phone is also ideal for ministers, as most of them have a criminal record.
“We all have been to jail at least once. There, we used to put our fingerprints and get locked. Here, we will put our fingerprint and unlock the phone, hahaha,” quipped the man of many words, in a rare moment where he showed a sense of humor.
When contacted, Tim Cook, CEO of Apple said, “The future of illiteracy is here. We are proud to partner with India. I am sure the ministers will have a truly wonderful time.”
Reports also suggest that the first copy of the new iPhone will be given to Rahul Gandhi, obviously. According to sources, the new iPhone will also help ministers to engage in fruitful conversations with their followers on Twitter and help trend topics like #feku and #pappu.
“Many complained to us that our pictures are outdated. With the iPhone in our hands, the public can expect superior quality pictures on political posters and hoardings that we will stick everywhere,” revealed a minister, on condition of anonymity, as he proceeded to take a selfie.
