Osaka: The Japanese video game developing company Capcom has planned to release a new instalment in the Street Fighter series, after getting inspired from how the Indian journalist Rajdeep Sardesai was fighting in the street with Non Residential Indians.
Speaking to the Faking News, Capcom spokesperson, Ingachoru Kittawa, said, “Street Fighter is a well known and well played game among the Indian video game enthusiasts. We were planning for Street Fighter V from 2011. We were lost over how to attract the Indian market which has our highest consumer base. But thankfully, we saw how your journalist Rajdeep Sardesai was fighting in the streets of New York, when Modi-san was talking in Madison Square. We are going to ship Street Fighter V to India with Rajdeep Sardesai fighting the NRIs on the New York street.”
Newschim Trado, the head of development of Street Fighter V, said, “This game will feature Rajdeep Sardesai, who fights with NRIs on the streets of New York. The backstory will have Rajdeep in his growing years of journalism and how he ended up in New York, due to the state visit of his political enemy. He forces people to accept the truth i.e., his version. And then, he removes his coat and then the game comes to player control. There will be fifty levels, wherein Rajdeep will fight with Hindus, ranging from NRI guy to a HDL tweeter to a RSS trained fighter. In bonus rounds, he will be fighting with co-journalists like Gaurav, Arnab, etc. In my opinion, the Arnab round will be hardest to crack.”
When asked about special powers, he said, “Our lead character Rajdeep will have Sagarika as his support. Whenever he is kicked to ground, she will come in and start abusing the Internet Hindu. But you can only use that power twice. Apart from this, we have Old Monk for energy revival and Moral Compass for increasing fury. You might need to earn 2500 points to have Rajdeep drink Old Monk and 5000 points for using Moral compass once.”
One of the journalists of India Today group, on condition of anonymity, said, “We are sure this game will be a hit in India. One can play this game as two-player too. I hope the Internet Hindus will choose their role and the secular and liberals will choose Rajdeep’s role. But, I will also play for Rajdeep and make sure he gets the most hits and gets KO-ed.”
Rajdeep supporters took upon social media and claimed that this new game was brought due to pressure of Modi government on Abe’s govt, to tarnish the image of news reporters in India.
