Sachin Tendulkar walks off to a rousing ovation, India v West Indies, 2nd Test, Mumbai, 2nd day, November 15, 2013

The Indian bowlers flooded with runs and runs on day 3 of the 2nd Test Match of Tendulkar test Series as they ended up conceding more than 300 extras. Every attempt was made by the Indians to get West Indies to a decent total so that India gets to bat again and Sachin could get an another chance to get a ton.”We were quite disappointed when Sachin pajji fell short of his wonderful century but we thought we would give him a chance in the 2nd innings”,said Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Chanderpaul the top scorer for the team with 61 was amazed to see his team score so much,” I just don’t know how we went on to make such a big total, it was 245-6 when i got out ,I just went for a shower when i came out we had crossed the 400 mark.”

Mohammed Shami, the top run giver for India who looked quite happy with his bowling figures said,” I really dont care about runs i gave, its just that i made god come and bat again. We got quite scared initially when West Indies wickets kept on falling even when we bowled as worse as we could but then we realised that only giving away extras will help”

From Super Beamers to Super Wides every possible extra was given away by the Indians and every run was cheered by the crowd as they chanted “Sachiiiin Saachiin”. Also for the first time in Cricket History a team got a six through over-throws when Kohli caught the bowl at Mid-off only to throw with all his might to the other side to the boundary for a six.

After the 8th wicket fell, There were no appeals by Indians for lbw’s ,catches were fumbled and dropped which eventually helped West Indies innings put up a record 10th wicket partnership of 221 between Tino Best(29*) and Shillingford(21) which ended up accidentally as Shiilingford got out Hit-wicket. India now needs to make 320 in 2 days left to win the Tendulkar Test Series 2-0.
