Melbourne:  Indian cricket player Sir Jadeja will be adjudged as the ‘Player of Tournament’ in the ongoing World Cup tournament. It was revealed by an official ICC member. There were rumours that Martin Guptill or Trent Boult might win the title. Sir Jadeja left for India along with Indian team, after beaten by the mighty Australian side in the second semi final of World Cup 2015. Each and  every member of the team was criticized by former Cricket legends Salil Ankola and Rohan Gavaskar.

An ICC officials provided more details on this news : “ICC never take wrong decision. We came to the decision after discussing with all members for at least ten times. There are certain criteria in declaring the Best. You know, there are batsmen and bowlers who performed well in this tournament. Trent Boult and Mitchell Starc shined with the ball whereas Sangakkara, Guptill and De Villiers scored too many runs with the bat. All of them played well, so it was difficult to choose one. Then Srini Mama – Senior Trustee of ICC, BCCI and MCBC came to help us with his ideology. He advocated that a player can be called  as ‘Player’, only when he is able to bat, bowl, field, walk and talk. So Technically, Sir Jadeja deserves the title of ‘Player of Tournament.

“Sir Jadeja played 8 games scored 57 runs and took 9 wickets. He is a match winner, because he was part of winning team India who won 7 games in this World Cup. Indian team helped Sir Jadeja in reaching and taking part in semi final. His presence in the team was the key to India’s good performance in World Cup. Srini Mama’s theory was approved by all members except a member from Bangladesh (weeping for many days), who cried ‘No Ball’.” he added.

Sir RaJa Fan (Sir Ravindra Jadeja Fans Association), the official Sir Jadeja fans association decided to add one more ‘Sir’ to Sir’s name in respect of his unbelievable performance in the World Cup. Sir Sir Jadeja remained unavailable as he was practising until midnight for the upcoming IPL tournament. Srini Mama responded to us “We might have lost the World Cup, But we will won something at least. Last year Yuvraj Singh won this title.” #WontGiveItBack  : )
