With speculation linking Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo to a move away from Spanish giants, Real Madrid have already started working on finding replacement. Real have set their eyes on New Zealand captain Brandon McCullum.
McCullum has been one of the best batsman at World Cup and has provided explosive starts to Kiwis which helped them overcome South Africa in semi finals.
It’s not yet clear if either Bale or Ronaldo would quit Spanish capital. It’s no secret that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez wants world’s best players at the club as part of his galacticos policy. As part of this policy 2014 World Cup Golden Boot winner James Rodriguez moved to Real. After leading New Zealand so well as captain and with bat during World Cup McCullum is perfect fit for Galacticos.
With arch rivals Barcelona facing Transfer Ban, Perez has little competition for McCullum’s signature. He plans to take maximum advantage of the situation and bring Kiwi’s skipper to Spanish capital.
