Ishant Sharma’s performance improves after marriage, says he now can read pitch better

16, Dec 2016 By Ambikesh Khandelwal

In the first test match after his marriage, Ishant Sharma performed exceedingly well after a long time for India. The stats of Ishant Sharma’s first spell in the ongoing fifth test against England were 5 overs, 4 maidens, 1 Run, 1 wicket. This Kind of performance from the bowler who is always been more valuable to opposite team than the Indian team itself is highly unlikely.

First time in my life, I performed well twice, consecutively. Once in marriage and then in just following match. Yea!
First time in my life, I performed well twice, consecutively. Once in marriage and then in just following match. Yea!

“Ishant Sharma who is known for winning the match for the other side due to his last over specialty for India, is not looking the normal Ishant Sharma Indians are habitual of”, said a guy sitting in the crowd, “his balls were pitching on the correct line and length. I suspect it is because of his new hairstyle which is making him able to see the ball after delivering it”.

Our faking news correspondent, who is covering the final test match in Chennai, managed to reach out to Ishant Sharma who was fielding at the third man boundary, his permanent position and asked a few question. He asked Ishant about his unusual performance, and to whom he wanted to give credit for that. Ishant without any momentary pass, credited that to his marriage and said he then had understood the pitch conditions really well and had practiced a lot in home condition. Our reporter could not get the logic of what Ishant was trying to say as he hadn’t seen Ishant practicing in Firoz Shah Kotla.

Anyway, people are shocked watching Ishant performing that well, But we hope he continues to perform for his team and not for the opposite team. Ishant Sharma also gives suggestion to Bhuvneshvar Kumar to get married soon as he hopes Bhuvneshvar might also get his reverse swing back and also a place in the Indian team.
