After disastrous performance which resulted in defeat against Italy and Uruguay, England have been knocked out from World Cup already. With last game against Costa Rica nothing but consolation, there is some activity happening in England camp to boost the team’s morale.

The game against Costa Rica is a dead rubber. Defeat in this game would increase pressure on Manager Roy Hodgson and some senior players like Captain Steven Gerrard. If England lose against Costa Rica, position of duo would be under increased scrutiny.

To avoid embarrassing situation of 3rd successive defeat against Costa Rica, team management is working on boosting team’s morale. They’ve reached out to India’s famous actor Rajnikanth who is known to perform miracles. Management want legendary actor to have a session with England team which they hope would inspire team.

However there is an unexpected twist in the tale. Rajnikanth has turned down the request from England management. Sources close to actor said he is already working in similar capacity with Costa Rica’s team. This would explain the superb performance against Italy and Uruguay.

With information of Rajnikanth’s association with Costa Rican team now in open, odds of they winning the world cup have been slashed drastically. And for England, it’s going to be a long flight across the Atlantic which may give them some time to think about tough decisions…
