DoT raises ray of hope for Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja

16, Feb 2013 By Shaitaan Khopdi ™

Ravindra Jadeja and Rohit Sharma, the two Indian cricketers who have discovered the diamond in them long back (although country is yet to discover anything in them), found a little ray of hope at the end of the tunnel when DoT blocked 73 websites that dared to go beyond being paid media and criticized ‘the one who must not be blamed named’.

Talking to our correspondent ‘Shaitaan Khopdi’ the IPL’s dynamic duo welcomed court’s judgment and government’s quick action on it:

Shaitaan Khopdi: How is this blocking impacting you?

Rohit: It’s a huge relief for us. Now we can walk back to pavilion knowing that nobody will dare to raise any questions on us.

Jadeja: I am amazed at the speed at which govt has acted. The way this govt is taking actions I am sure they are in 20-20 mode. Pranab da has already rejected so many mercy pleas this month. His strike rate is higher than strike rate of Rohit and mine combined.

Rohit: Dude, concentrate…we are fighting for trolling we face on twitter/FB/Online Forums etc.

SK: Errr… I support Rohit’s point. And to correct you Jadeja, govt is in 2014 mode not 20-20.

Jadeja: Whatever, I want all the criticism to be blocked. Because now that ponytail is beyond reach we remain the main targets for trolling.

SK: But shouldn’t you silence your critics with your performance?

Rohit: Yeh hai youngistaan meri jaan! We have changed the game and this is how we will silence the critics. We will let DoT do the talking. Ball is in our court now.

Jadeja: Errr…. Ball? Where? Short ball length ball? Seaming or Swinging, Spinning?

SK: Does it matter? You both can get out on any of them… (Runs to publish this news before DoT decides to block anything mentioning ‘Rohit’ and ‘Jadeja’)
