Congress blames Modi for series loss to Bangladesh

22, Jun 2015 By saif

After historic loss to Bangladesh in a bilateral ODI series, diehard & now agitated Indian cricket fans stormed Twitter and Facebook by venting out their frustration and their opinions ranging from blaming the BCCI selection committee to demanding Dhoni’s resignation.

Congress party in an unsurprising attack on the BJP and PM Modi blamed the entire loss on the PM Modi. A congress spokesperson told us that during the UPA rule India never lost any series be it ODI test or even T20 to Bangladesh.

When we reminded them of the 2007 World Cup loss to Bangladesh which proved instrumental in India’s early exit, the spokesperson hit back immediately with “Shortly after the world cup we toured Bangladesh and avenged the humiliation faced in West Indies.”

Congress took to twitter and trended #BlameModi to back the words of their party leader and demanded an immediate resignation from PM Narendra Modi as they say the loss is too much humiliation for congress party to digest who they claim have been working for India’s progress for the last 6 decades
