With the ” Big Phil” or Phil Scolari or Felipão seems to have  learned many things from India.  His suggestion of the injured Neymar being treated by Ayurveda in God’s own country “Kerala” has been well received in India.

Many of the Ayurvedic clinics in Kerala have put a life size photograph of the Brazilian and Barcelona football star at their entrance. Nearly all of the Ayurvedic clinics and spas in the southern states are claiming Neymar as their patient.

Some of them have even gone to the extent of putting placards of “Big Phil”. They claim that Scolari will follow suit for treatment of  baldness in near future. Meanwhile TV channels in Kerala have gone berserk, saying injured Brazilian footballer Neymar was likely to come to the state to undergo Ayurveda treatment  Many parents have named their children “Big Phil” after Scolari’s  suggestion that Neymar should be treated in Kerala. It is noteworthy that in Brazil, Scolari is now fondly or unfondly called “Big Rato’ or the “Big Rat” or a rat so big that can’t fit in a  hiding place.

Scolari has taken full responsibility for the manner of the defeat but not the defeat itself.  It was  Brazil’s first competitive defeat at home in 63 matches and their first on home soil since a loss to Peru in the Copa America in 1975 . The Brazilian coach has learnt seems to inspired by Indian Politicians. He has refused to resign after the  shameful defeat. He added ” ‘We had one defeat today. For a year and a half, this was a third defeat in 28 matches” like many Indian Ministers after the catastrophic  incident .
