BCCI to reschedule remaining IPL matches to deny weekend slot to KXIP

09, May 2015 By spidey2904

A change in the current fixtures is being proposed for the next few matches remaining in IPL2015. BCCI wants to make sure that Kings XI Punjab won’t be playing any more matches on weekends and after 8:00 pm.

“This is a collective decision and this has been put forth to increase the sale of tickets. Moreover, there’s been a call to reduce the prices of the tickets for the matches involving KXIP. Till yesterday it was totally unofficial. We had an official meeting yesterday in which we came up with this decision,” reported a BCCI official in an interview with Faking News.

There is a positive response for this decision among the audience too as they are sure that now their weekends will not be wasted watching matches, whose results they already know (no in the fashion Gurunath Meiyaappan or Vindoo Dara Singh knew).

Meanwhile Sony Television instead has offered to show Sooryavanshan when KXIP plays.
