Mumbai/ New Delhi. The Board of control of cricket in India has entered into an agreement with Central board of secondary education to finish all matches of ongoing India vs Australia test series in 3 or 4 days so that the students appearing in the board exams get more time to concentrate on their studies. The BCCI spokesperson Rajiv Shukla informed media that for this purpose they have directed the curators to prepare worst possible pitches.

Earlier chairman of CBSE Rajesh Kumar Chaturvedi had expressed displeasure over the decision of BCCI to conduct Ind – Aus test series in the month of february and march as it hampers the preparation of board candidates but had also thanked BCCI for conducting IPL in the month of April as the students get proper enjoyment during post exam vacations. The board has also suggested BCCI to conduct only 20-20 matches during exam season.

All India parents and students association has also welcomed this move for the welfare of candidates appearing in examination.however some sections of media has reported that CBSE and IIT-JEE are worried about the preformance of candidates in the coming engineering entrance examinations. The bcci is now considering to postpone IPL to summer vacations from next year.
