“Just when I thought I had
acquired achieved everything in my life, Sepp Bllater’s chair gave me hope”, said Mr. N Srinivasan the not-so-enthusiastic owner of CSK, Landlord of BCCI and Chairmen of ICC. Mr. Srinivasan was talking to his well wishers in a private meeting held at residence of Goan MP(yes the same ones), which was attended by the perpetual Indian Captain MSD, ever so perpetual cricket host Ravi Shastri and many other well wishers of India Cement cricket.
While Mr. Shastri doubted Mr. Srinivasan capability saying he’s not perfect for the FIFA job, Mr. Srinivasan clarified that nobody is perfect and all you need to be is enthusiastic about that sport and trust its capability to generate thrillers( and dollars).
When asked to comment on the news, Delhi Cricket Association’s secretary quickly rejected Mr. Srinivasan’s claim on perfection, he gave example of SRCC’s 100% cut-off this year and of course now infamous CBSE topper from Delhi Sarthak Agarwal.
Meanwhile, it has been learnt that Sepp Bllater has rolledup his sleeves and is seeking support of anti srini nations like Pakistan to back his candidature. Sources from Formula 1, who wished not to disclose their identity claimed Bernie Ecclestone has decided to provide an outside support to Srinivasan. In return, MSD is expected to buy a Formula 1 team and Vindu Dara Singh has promised his presence in grand stands for all F1 races, as a fan.
With this news there are growing rumours that the IPL founder Lalit Modi might make a comeback behind Srini’s back. When asked for her views on the rumour, Bollywood
child actress Alia Bhat’s response was quirky. In her words, “I wont get trolled this time, I know its a trick question. Modi is already in power”.
Cricket’s growing influence in FIFA is already a news worldwide, specially looking at the large number of nail biting (the Suarez performance to be taken into consideration as well) finishes, and last minute goals in this World Cup. A tweet from well know stand up comedian khamba gives a peek into the future.
