AAP threatens protest against Roy Hodgson

25, Jun 2014 By CB

After England’s dismal performance, Roy Hodgson’s men are on the brink of World Cup exit. But England manager’s problems are increasing off the field. After mediocre performances of Captain Gerrard and stars like Rooney, Sterling, Welbeck and Sturridge, AAP has jumped the bandwagon to criticize Hodgson.

AAP UK leaders called Hodgson agent of rich clubs like Liverpool and Manchester United and playing their out of form players rather than other talented players from smaller clubs like Southampton and Everton.

Speaking to press, AAP leaders said Southampton striker Lambert and midfielder Lallana and Everton midfielder Barkley who all came as second half substitutes in loss against Uruguay deserve to start the game.

AAP has threatened to hold Dharana outside FA headquarters at Wembley if these players don’t get playing time against Costa Rica in final group game.

Reacting to this latest development, FA press department has said they would not like to comment on team’s affairs and reiterated Hodgson as manager is free to select whoever he wants. Hodgson during his press conference said he would select best possible team to face Costa Rica to ensure England win.
