New Delhi: After receiving rave accolades for her review on Animal Farm, Shilpa Shetty has decided to give youngsters an insight on her favourite card game, rummy.
Earlier, Shilpa Shetty said that Animal Farm, a social commentary on the dystopian society and the Russian Revolution during the Stalinist era in Soviet Union, should be included in the school syllabus as it would teach “the little ones to love and care for animals”.
“After winning Big Brother, a show about family and relationships, it’s nice to be looked upto by the youngsters again. Raj and I were constantly squabbling with each other a lot after Rajasthan Royals were suspended from IPL over the corruption scandal.” Shilpa Shetty told Faking News as she dabbed a tear from the corner of her eye.
“Yoga was the only thing in my life that kept me fit and flexible. One day, I went to Palika Bazaar to purchase ‘Unleash Bipasha Basu’ for new yoga poses. My eyes fell on a DVD of the popular TV show ‘House Of Cards’. Since, there was a BOGO offer, I picked it up. Excuse me, one sec”, Shilpa’s eyes tried to unsuccessfully well up. She rummaged in her bag for glycerin.
After a quickie, she continued. “It is the best show ever! Taught me a lot about Rummy. Now, Rummy is the only thing that keeps Raj and me up all night. We can go at it on Junglee Rummy, multiple times without a break. He never gets tired”, Shilpa Shetty fondly reminiscences.
