New Delhi: Finance minister Mr. Arun Jaitley announced today that age old, regressive methods will be utilized going forward in order to counter the lack of cash in ATMs, if the shortage issues are not solved by the end of this year.
Speaking to Faking News, the finance minister said, “Barter system has proved to be really effective from the times when kings ruled our country. While we work on printing notes to meet the demand, I request junta to try the barter system by exchanging stuff they don’t need for getting stuff they really need.”
“This will also help you get rid of unwanted items in your home and help you keep your house clean. This, In a way, will help the cause of Swachch Bharat Abhiyaan too”, said Mr. Jaitley as he continued to explain.
“Ministry of finance will soon release a thousand page long list with details of items that could be swapped as part of a legal bartering transaction”. When our reporters asked whether iPhone-Kidney is part of the list, “Yes! Offcourse!”, said Jaitley, which came as a sigh of relief for youth.
