With almost no honest option left to contest polls, Mayawati said that next time she would ask EC to use Twitter as a medium of voting where the elections would be held in a single phase and results would be out immediately after the polls become inactive.

The EC has acknowledged the request made by Behenji and has liked the idea as well. “It would save lot of personnel and security costs for us. The money saved would be invested in latest graphic designing softwares to design new election symbols for daily emerging new political parties As far as security is concerned, moral policing on Twitter will take care of it”, said a Senior Officer from EC’s office.

As soon as the news came, AAP and BJP started recruiting new candidates for managing their IT cell. “The candidates who enjoys large number of Twitter followers and have contested polls in past are being given preference” said Bhagwant Patra from one of the political parties while confirming this news.
