New Delhi. Responding to the angry reactions of Indians across social media, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said that Rs. 200 crores is rightly allotted for Sardar Patel’s statue as it will be no ordinary statue.
In subsequent years, advanced bio mechanics will be added to the statue to make it a giant humanoid robot capable of flight. The robot is expected to teach girl students during daytime and fight crime against women during the night.
Both the activities would be nation-wide as the robot will be capable of attaining super-sonic flight speeds and travel across schools and crime scenes in the blink of an eye.
“Some people think it is foolishness to spend more on the statue than on safety of women in cities, safety of women on public transport and on ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’. But as you can see, the statue will be capable of attaining all those objectives. Also it can be useful in military activities. If you add all those costs, Sardar Patel’s statue costs a nominal value. Aam aadmi of India do not know aam math,” said Mr. Jaitley when contacted by Faking News.
When asked why Sardar Patel was chosen for this project, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel is known as the Iron Man of India. We want to show the world that
Gujrat’s India’s Iron Man is far better than the videshi Iron Man you read about in comics and watch in movies.”
However many techies of Bangalore have expressed concern over the technical feasibility of the project.
Responding to this, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Jitendra Singh said, “We have all the technology in place. Our only concern is that once the rainy season is over, there will be clear skies and cloud computing might not work. We have to find an alternative for that.”
It is also reported that Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel doing a facepalm came in the dreams of many ministers. BJP supporters, however choose to interpret that as Sardar Patel wiping his tears of joy.
