We only receive bribes and never give out bribes: TTV Dinakaran on the EC symbol scandal

20, Apr 2017 By RT

Chennai. TTV Dinakaran has claimed that he never gave out any money as a bribe to anyone to claim the Two leaves symbol, after an FIR is filed in Delhi for ‘offering bribe’ to an Election Commission official. We only receive bribes and never give out bribes, a miffed TTV Dinakaran told Faking News.ttv-dinakaran-1-410x270

“It is almost laughable that the Delhi police are accusing me of giving out bribes to claim the Two leaves symbol from the Election Commission. In my illustrated political career, I have never given out bribes. We, as a family, only receive and not give. That is in our mission statement as well as vision statement. Only exception is during the elections, when we gift and I say again ‘gift’ and not bribe our voters to vote for us. This allegation by the Delhi police is totally baseless!” TTV Dinakaran told Faking News.

“I don’t know anyone by the name Subhash Chander. Never heard of him or met him. Wait a minute! I do know. I have read in history books. Yes. I do know Mr. Subhas Chandra Bose from the Indian freedom movement. It is through the history books and the freedom fighting stories told by my aunt Sasikala, I grew up to be a nationalist. Who knows better than my aunt Sasikala, anything about fighting for freedom? I am going to the Bangalore jail now to meet her and listen to the struggle she and the AIADMK had gone through towards the upliftment of Tamilnadu people”, TTV Dinakaran further added.

“Why would I give Rs.50 crores for an election symbol? Though we are not in the practice of giving out bribes, have learnt from other like-minded parties that EVM tampering is much cheaper and cannot be traced back. Anyway, like I said before, we only receive bribes and never give out”, TTV Dinakaran concluded to Faking News during the press meet.

Meanwhile, Sasikala has refused to meet with him in the Bangalore jail, stating the reason that he has violated the fundamental philosophy of the way the party politically operates. One should get caught receiving and not giving, Sasikala apparently told the authorities, pending the visit from her nephew.
