Mulayam calls 'One Day Bandh' in UP while Akhilesh allows FDI in state

People in Uttar Pradesh were stunned when Akhilesh Yadav suddenly allowed FDI in retail in the state after a hush-hush cabinet meeting called around mid-night yesterday. “We have realized that while other states will be filling their own pockets with foreign funds, we can’t leave our state’s Aam Aadmi in poor condition” said Ram Gopal Yadav of SP. He clarified though in a candid chat with this Faking News reporter, “Aam aadmi belongs to Samajwadi party only. Other parties have already filled their pockets.”

Confused with Samajwadi Party’s U-turn on FDI, some retail shop owners met Netaji (Mulayam Singh Yadav as fondly he is called) in the morning & asked for some clarification. He consoled them by saying that they will get a clear picture by evening. As the public rage grew more & more, in the evening Mulayam Singh Yadav called for an urgent press meeting which was attended by all prominent leaders of SP as well as some lost ones like Amar Singh also.

While giving complete attention to the public rage over this new development, Netaji announced, “We completely are against FDI in retail in UP. We will have a ‘one day bandh’ all over the state against it. All left parties are with us in this decision.” When asked that if left parties have any significance in UP, he told that left parties are known to give support to bandh all over the country.

While the call for this bandh has satisfied SP supporters, surprisingly Mayawati who had already announced for a bandh on the same issue called ‘No Bandh’ from BSP. When asked for reason she told, ” Samajwadi Party doesn’t want people to prosper. So, it is opposing FDI. We can’t stand with them.”

Rajnath Singh of BJP gave support to the Bandh by SP. “They have already eaten enough black money. It’s now our turn.” Realizing soon enough that he has mixed 2 different sentences in one paragraph, he clarified “I mean it is our turn to expose them.”

Digvijai Singh, Congress’ unofficially rejected spokesman, didn’t lose a minute to give statement after this, “SP is going communal. They are taking BJP & RSS support for this bandh. I hope that they should know that FDI is actually originated from Indian people only.” referring to the Thakrey family being originated from Bihar. When asked that whether he means that black money will come back to India in form of FDI, he quickly said “We are doing every possible thing to bring back the black money. People should appreciate Congress for that. Ramdev & Anna are RSS agents.” He left the place leaving the reporters confused for what reasons he told the last sentence.

In the meantime, Akhilesh Yadav, CM of UP & son of Mulayam Singh Yadav is learnt to give complete support to the Bandh & ordered that Govt institutions will be closed on that day.
