New Delhi. In what marked its first since incumbency, Modi government has expanded the Union Cabinet. The newest addition, “Ministry of Defiance”, will be the 52nd Ministry notified by Union of India.

The latest ministry

Speaking on the need of new Ministry, Mr. Arun Jaitly pointed out that there has been growing tribe of defiant people all over India. Some defy laws, some gravity and some even defy logic. He estimated that the tribe will see as much as 69% increase by 2019 end.

Sources claim that government is trying to get on board luminaries for the smooth functioning of the ministry. Mr. Lalit Modi, Mr. N. Srinivasan and Mr. Rajiv Shukla are the few which are reportedly contacted for various roles is the ministry considering their vast experiences in this field.

“This is nothing but a Margdarshak Mandal of sorts. She is being unfairly targeted. There is no place of humanity in politics”, exclaimed a miffed Ms. Swaraj supporter. He even threatened to launch a stir against the move.

“No, No. She is best suited lady for this portfolio. Mr. Modi has handpicked her for her expertise. There is nothing like hit job”, another supporter was seen pacifying the former.

Though the move goes against the famous maxim “Minimum Government, Maximum Governance”, government is certain of its utility in the long run. The notification has been sent out to the President for approval. Ministers will not be required to take oath of office keeping in view the nature of ministry.
