New Delhi: After the legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and senior scientist CNR Rao, a man named Mahesh Kumar has become the 3rd person to be awarded the very precious and the highest civilian award Bharat Ratna this year.

“Mahesh Kumar has done wonders for the Congress nation, we’ve decided to give him the award because he listened to Rahul Gandhi’s full speech yesterday and didn’t leave the place till the end of it,” a Congress spokesperson told Faking News.

Apparently, Mahesh Kumar, the 30-year-old man who is a resident of Dakshinpuri, also got a call from the PM Dr. Manmohan Singh just like Sachin Tendulkar did.

Also, Mahesh Kumar became the youngest person to get Bharat Ratna breaking Sachin Tendulkar’s record.

“Yesterday evening I got a call from the PM Dr. Manmohan Singh, he congratulated me for getting the Bharat Ratna,” Mahesh Kumar told Faking News.

“Yes, I am so happy. Hearing Manmohan Singh’s voice and getting the Bharat Ratna in one day was like the best thing ever happened to me. ” excited Mahesh Kumar said.

Yesterday while speaking in a rally in Dakshinpuri, which is regarded to be party’s stronghold. Congress’ Vice President Rahul Gandhi highlighted the Dikshit government’s development record and attacked the BJP as usual but the crowd didn’t look engaged and most of the people got up to leave. Delhi CM Sheila Dikshit appealed to the crowd to stay put and listen to Rahul but that didn’t stem the thinning.

“The crowd of Dakshinpuri behaved just like the onion black-marketers by not listening to any of my appeals,” furious Sheila Dikshit reacted.

“I didn’t get the Bharat Ratna just like that. It took a lot of hard work and patience. It wasn’t easy at all to listen to Rahul Gandhi for 20 minutes, but I didn’t lose my concentration. I kept calm and that’s what got me the Bharat Ratna. ” Mahesh Kumar further added.

“The rally reminded me of my college days when the majority of the people left the place and the rest of them started sleeping. But I kept my eyes and my ears open. At the end of the speech I was quite surprised when I realized that I was the only one listening to Rahul Gandhi’s speech, even the organizers and the other Congress personnel fell asleep,” Mahesh stated.

When asked about what message he got from Rahul Gandhi’s speech, Mahesh only said, “It was quite hilarious, the comedy of errors actually.”

According to the organizers, who woke up after Rahul finished talking, Rahul Gandhi patted Mahesh’s back and thanked him for being a great support.

“Rahul Gandhi had tears in his eyes when he waved goodbye to Mahesh Kumar. It was quite an emotional moment,” an organizer of the rally told Faking News.
