Kejriwal to rejoin IRS, says "Nation better served from Income-Tax Dept"

In a stunning move, AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal announced his decision to quit politics and re-join his former emplyer Indian Revenue Services. Speaking to reporters after revieving results of Lok Sabha elections, Kejrival said it was his mentor Anna Hazare who inspired him to take this momentous decision. I couldn’t do much as an Aam Admi but as a privileged officer of the IRS, I can certainly enjoy my rank and its privileges while serving the nation better as tax vigilante.”

The former Delhi Chief Minister refused to comment on whether the services rules permit him to re-join its ranks. Kejriwal also refused to congratulate Narendra Modi while declaring ‘I reject this result, people were brainwashed and hypnotized.”
