But the theatrics didn’t stop here. When inside jail, Kejriwal saw imminent power cuts. After series of inquires, he came to know about unpaid power bills by tihar jail which results in everyday power cuts.

“He resumed his old bijli paani satyagraha inside jail. The inmates followed him as there is no sort of entertainment out there,” said a source around Tihar jail.

According to our sources, Kejriwal cut all the incoming power supplies in Jail from outside. This led to a complete blackout in jail for an hour.

Initially, Kejriwal refused to take responsibility as he blamed it on Reliance Power Ltd for poor wiring and power phase issues. But later when this issue was picked by media, Kejriwal took all responsibility.

Annoyed by this act, Superintendent of Police, Tihar Jail filed an FIR against AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal. Following this matter, the Patiala court extended Kejriwal’s jail term by month.
