Jaitley to quit FM post: Joins Trump campaign

“Yes. Trump for President”, said Jaitley.

New Delhi. India’s Finance Minister has decided to quit his plum position to join Donald Trump’s campaign in the US. Insiders inform us that Donald Trump made a secret offer to Mr. Jaitley over Twitter DM and also on Mr. Jaitleys blog right after he presented the 2016 Union Budget. Sources say that Trump has spotted the same quirkiness, shoot-yourself-in-the-foot and loud-mouthedness in Jaitley that he believes is the secret recipe of his personality.

Trump said in a party, “If this guy can tax EPF, which is already taxed at source, on a base of 3% tax payers in India, then he deserves to be in my campaign team and I am going to get him”. Mr. Jaitley immediately accepted the offer but said, “The GST bill is pending in RS (a gentle swag, comma, deep breath) as is the defamation case against Kejriwal and his nautanki team (a gentler swag, comma, deep breath)”.

Stopping him halfway Ms. Smriti Irani said, “If I don’t get the GST bill passed, I will cut my head and put it in front of you. Trump needs you more”.

Kanhiaya Kumar from JNU has tweeted that his “family wants Azadi from EPF taxation”, to which Amit Shah has replied, “Abe teli family to tax blacket mein aati bi nhin”.

This development has been welcomed by the taxpaying people of India as well as the Trump camp.
