Great great granddaughter of Rani Lakshmibai joins BJP

24, Feb 2014 By mbineet

The great great granddaughter of Rani Lakshmibai has joined BJP, our FTI sources reported last night.

The seventy years old, Shubhlaxmi Bai of Bundelkhand region was seen going on a rathyatra around the town of Jhansi with a lotus in her left hand and a worn-out sword in her right hand. She was accompanied by a group of youngsters with NaMo4PM T’shirts.

Seems Mahatma Gandhi's grandson Rajmohan Gandhi's closeness to AAP has a lot to do with this.
Seems, Mahatma Gandhi’s grandson Rajmohan Gandhi’s closeness with AAP has a lot to do with this.

In a response to the recent entry of grandson of Gandhi to AAP, the BJP was prompt to show competitiveness.

BJP’s spokesperson Prakash Javadekar has tweeted, “Jhansiwali rani thi, angrezo ko lalkari thi”. One of our sources in the party revealed, “BJP is always one step ahead, here we are two steps ahead. If AAP has grand sons of Gandhi and Shastri; Congress has grand son and daughter of Nehru; We have gone back to the first struggle for independence. Who can be more patriotic than us ?”

Looking at the recent political development, a history student in JNU, Delhi asked our correspondent to go and contact all the grandsons and granddaughters of national leaders of freedom movement. He added, “Don’t ask me man, my grandfather was in the army. He was no big shot”.

Meanwhile the Aam Aadmi Party took time to react on this. Prof. Anand Kumar showed our team, a bundle of papers, saying, “I have checked all the records. Jhansi Rani Lakshmibai had no family. How come this great great grand thing? After all, her not having any children, was the reason for the confrontation with the East India Company.”

However, on social media this news has gone viral. Rahul Gupta, a hardcore NaMo fan (his profile description on Facebook), shared a pic supposedly the family photograph of the Lakshmibai clan.

When contacted through WhatsApp, he demanded Rs 1 billion for a complete family album of the royal family of Jhansi.
