New Delhi: Members of the All India Congress Committee lead by Anjay Jha staged a protest here on Friday and burnt the effigy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi over India’s humiliating defeat against Bangladesh in the first ODI played at Dhaka.

Congress workers protesting against the defeat

They demanded PM Modi’s resignation over the humiliating defeat, citing it as pillar of a failed foreign policy of the Modi government. Slogans were raised against the PM for hurting sentiments of millions of cricket fans across the Nation.

Since May 2014, India has not won a single series on a foreign soil. First we lost a series against England, then Australia and now losing a match against Bangladesh? Are these so called ‘ACCHE DIN’ Mr. Modi promised? The handsome hunk Congress spokesperson Anjay Jha told Faking News here.

We demand this government to be dissolved and fresh elections to be held. This country deserves a Young and dynamic leader like Raul Gandhi, under whose leadership we will win on foreign soils, claimed Anjay Jha

PM Modi, whose foreign policy has earned him absolute praise now has some critics in Anjay Jha, along with Indian cricket team PM Modi’s policies will also be tested in the second ODI scheduled to be played on Sunday.
