BJP has been AAM Aadmi Party for over a decade with AAM standing for Advani Atal Modi, says Smriti Irani

Varanasi: Television actor-turned BJP politician Smriti Irani dropped a bomb today during her press conference by claiming that BJP is the original AAM Aadmi Party. This is what she had to say:

Smriti Irani
“Ya, it’s true”

“BJP has been AAM Aadmi Party even before Mihir Virani, my onscreen husband in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi went missing for the first time over a decade ago. The AAM in BJP stood and still stands for Advani Atal Modi.”

Faking News dispatched its reporter after he regained consciousness on hearing this, to get Arvind Kejrwal’s reaction to Irani’s statement.

“Yes she is absolutely right. BJP has been AAM for many years” said Kejriwal while applying hand-sanitizer on a broom. “But AAM in them doesn’t stand for Advani Atal Modi but for Ambani Adani Money. For once I agree with Smritiji.

Kumar Vishwas chose to express his view on the issue by reciting the following lines from his new poem:

Hum bhi hain Aam

Tum bhi ho Aam

Hum bhi hain Aam

Tum bhi ho Aam

To phir humaare beech mein Rahul baba ka kya kaam?

Faking News sought the views of other well-respected and eminent politicians on the controversy.

Said Vinod Kumar Binny who was expelled from Aam Aadmi Party, “I can’t comment on what Smritiji said. I have hated her voice ever since my wife started watching her serials including reruns for 15 hours a day. But there is one thing that I can definitely say: AAP doesn’t stand for Aam Aadmi Party but for Arvind Ashutosh Prashant.”

“This statement from Smriti Irani clearly proves that Aam Aadmi Party is the B Team of BJP and not of Congress” said Abhishek Singhivi, Congress spokesperson. “Also let me take this opportunity to state on record that the Congress did consider floating a B Team to counter AAP. The same was tentatively named as SCAM standing for Sonia Chidambaram And Manmohan but was scrapped at the last moment as Rahul baba didn’t want to be left alone.”

Added Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi, “I don’t care what Irani said. I don’t trust a word BJP says. They claim peace and harmony in Gujarat. I was there a few months ago and saw people fighting with each other using small sticks.”

“Rahul baba, that was Navratre season and folks were playing dandiya” whispered an embarrassed and flustered Digvijay Singh into his ears.

Faking News then caught up with Tanuj Khosla, its-in house expert on such issues. “This statement by Irani is absolutely ridiculous” said Tanuj while adding tomato ketchup to his cup of tea.  “Tomorrow she shall get up and say that there has been a RSS in BJP for many years with the same standing for Rajnath Sushma Smriti. I highly recommend that she improves her lines in politics and gets them to the standard of those she mouthed during her time as an actress. Maybe she can hire David Dhawan to write her political scripts.”
