Bajrang Dal to protest againt Lakshmipathy Balaji

07, Feb 2013 By Anil Sharma

New Delhi: Today afternoon, Shyam Prasad, the leader of Bajrang Dal announced another protest due to hurt religious sentiments. This time it is against Lakshmipathy Balaji.

“While every other religious organizations are protesting against something, we finally find something to protest against and to create a controversy out of nothing,” said Mr. Shyam.

“We have a serious problem with this cricketer’s name, Lakshmi-Pati Balaji,” he added.

“First of all Balaji was a bal brhamachari, secondly, Laxmi jee’s husband was God Vishnu, so all in all this player’s name is hurting our religious sentiments,” Shyam Prasad told FN.

“Tomorrow, we are going for a huge rally against him to start with and then we are planning to call for a Bharat Bandh,” Mr. Shyam angrily explicated.

Meanwhile Mohan Bhagwat has requested Bajrang Dal to not to call for a Bharat Bandh. “Instead they should go for an India Bandh, as bandhs happen in India only!” Mohan Bhagwat quoted himself once again.

“We know he is not playing in Indian team right now, so we are asking for a ban on Kolkata Knight Riders, the team he is playing for in the IPL,” Shyam Prasad went on to add.

“We are in a hurry actually, its February and Valentine’s day is coming up, so we have to prepare for that too. You know how much preparation it takes to demolish Flower Shops and to beat the shit out of innocent couples,” he told Faking News.

“Yes, if he agrees to remove 7 letters from his name, we will let him and his team play in the IPL all peaceful,” he replied when asked about the solution for the issue.

Our reporter did try to make sense and asked, “Don’t you think its a bit stupid to protest against someone for his name? Even the great William Shakespeare  said that there is nothing in a name.”

Mr. Shyam replied to this with a grin on his face, “You reminded us well, next, we will protest against Shakespeare too as his name is quite vulgar too, what kind of guy has SEX in his name!”

Meanwhile BCCI member Rajiv Shukla, who is there in the board since Vasco Da Gama searched this country named India, said, “We are in talks with Balaji and hopefully we will find a way out soon.”

Though Lakshmipathy Balaji is in no mood to remove the 7 letters from his name, he said, “The only reason I get selected in the team is because I have a catchy name and its quite easy to remember for the selectors.”

So, all we can say is that once again, IPL, the serial killer for housewives and the greatest platform for all the young cricketers like Ganguly, Nehra, and Piyush Chawla, is in news again due to all these petty issues. Maybe because we still don’t know that hating someone else’s religion is disrespecting your own religion.
