Supreme Court directs Faking News to step aside and shut down till elections are over

A special bench of the Supreme Court urgently constituted to hear a PIL filed by Dr. Subramaniam Swamy of BJP, delivered a judgement that requires FakingNews site to step aside and shut down till the end of elections.

Accepting the plea of Dr. Subramaniam Swamy that the site was intent on highlighting the quirks of the people involved in the democratic exercise of elections and presenting facts to the voting public in a way that was detrimental to public interest, the SC bench ruled that the site be shut down.

In a rare show of unity, all parties including AAP welcomed the verdict. In fact Mr. Prashant Bushan who appeared for the news site and argued passionately in its defence, accepted that his emotions were mixed and he was happy for Arvind kejriwal.

Dr. Subramaniam Swamy said now he could concentrate on trying to find a constituency for himself without any backlash.

Cutting across party lines, Mr. Sharad Pawar, Mr. Modi, Mr. kejriwal, Mr. Swamy, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Nitin Gadkari and other luminaries shared ladoos and celebrated the news.
