One of India’s leading Tabloid Newspaper Times of India (TOI) today launched a new magazine to celebrate the body parts of female actresses. The Magazine is named as “Lust of India” (LOI). The launch comes days after the newspaper officially complimented cleavage of Deepika Padukone by carrying pictures of her low cut dress.
Speaking on the occasion, TOI’s vice president Aman Nanda said, “TOI wanted to have a platform to “compliment” the womanhood of Bollywood actresses. The magazine would give the actresses access to niche young audience.”
“We have set benchmarks in the field of journalism. This is just another one,“ he further added.
“The Magazine would carry close up shots of body part of actresses. A team of seasoned voyeurs journalists would write essays and editorials on their body parts. We would be focusing on Nose, Cheeks, Lips, Hips, belly, butts, Legs and not to forget cleavages of actresses You might have heard of yellow journalism. This one will be called pink journalism,” said one of the business executive of LOI.
”See, We have people who prefer to read news on Anushka Sharma’s Lip surgery than reading news on Floods in Kashmir! People read TOI more or less for its entertainment section, who reads its editorial?” he further added.
LOI’s first edition would feature Sunny Leone with yesteryear actor Ranjeeth as its guest columnist.
Anticipating criticism and obnoxious questions from various quarters, Times Group has appointed its stalwart Arnab Goswami as the spokesman to howl down any such attempt.
