The University of Sydney, which had constituted an expert committee on hearing about the Durga Shakti Nagpal incidence, has revoked the degree in Environmental Engineering it had awarded to Akhilesh Yadav, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.

A spokesman of the University told Faking News that the University that one of the guiding principles of the institution was that students should actually practice what they have been taught and Mr. Yadav’s acquiescence to the sand mining activities in UP violated that principle.

In the meantime Faking News has come to know that more than 50 MPs of the National Congress Party had signed a letter to Julia Gillard urging her not to give Akhilesh Yadav an Australian visa for attending an alumni meeting at Sydney University. The letter was addressed to the Prime Minister of Australia and mentioned that as a woman she should lend her support to the cause of Durga Shakti. They received a polite answer from the Australian PM’s secretariat informing them that the present Prime Minister was Kevin Rudd.
