Srinagar. One Nathuram Gandhi, an IT professional has been declared a frustrated tourist and not a terrorist by the J&K police after being picked for throwing grenades at Vodafone and Aircel telecom towers.
Reportedly he had been stuck in Srinagar for five days and was unable to book the return tatkal ticket through IRCTC on Friday. In the morning he had gone to the nearby cyber cafe to book the return tickets to Delhi. He had been trying to book the tickets for the four days sometime due to login problems or unavailability of seats.
At last, on Friday he had been able to login on the site and tried to book the seat. On the payment page he chose to make a credit card payment which required an OTP. He chose to send the OTP on his number which was prepaid and was not working as the J&K government doesn’t allow prepaid numbers from other states to be used in the state.
Frustrated, he chose to pelt the Vodafone tower.
