Nobel prize in economics to Narendra Modi for his thesis on 'The theory of achche din'

It has been widely speculated that the BJP in general and Narendra Modi in particular was to receive the Nobel prize in Economic sciences for their contribution to the subject.

After a lot of debate, discussion and internal meetings within the BJP, it seems that there is a consensus on the matter. The matter that has the world waiting in bated breath-who really contributed to the ‘Theory of acheche din’, an economic theory whose time has come or rather whose time will come. So it seems that Mr. Narendra Modi is the chief architect for this wonderful theory that has made all Indians proud and has also made the world stand up and notice.

This theory, loosely translated as ‘The theory of good days’, espouses the principle that good days will come. This theory was the brainchild of the current Indian Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi. He dreamed of this while only a kid and used it to transform his home state of Gujrat, whose Chief Minister he became in the year 2001, into a paradise; experienced only through specially made and handcrafted 3D goggles.

Mr. Modi perfected his theory within the confines of his state office, doubling and tripling every statistic that came to mind. The theory was so baffling that even Dr. Manmohan Singh, the then (part) Prime Minister did not understand it completely, even though he was an economist himself. It was only after Mr. Steven Spielberg, an acclaimed Hollywood director heard of this theory through Mr. Anil Ambani, an Indian business tycoon and Mr. Modi fan, promised that he would use the theory on his new science fiction movie; the world noticed.

The theory works on a very complicated mechanism wherein ‘if something works, it works, if it doesn’t-good days tend to infinity’. The paradigm of infinity is what separates this from any other. A local BJP leader worked this out for us, “Good days never come announced. They  come only after Mr. Modi comes.” The BJP have reportedly patented the theory and have also made arrangements to develop a 250 ft gold statue to commemorate the decisive victory of good over evil.

It is yet to be known whether achche din are meant for the BJP or the whole nation and whether achche din meant US visa for the P.M. But one thing is certain, there is a definite shift in world economic thinking. World leaders are making definite plans to sell the idea of achche din to their own country folks.
