In a development that is bound to turn some heads, a Chartered Accountant has implemented an innovative idea to effectively use his time. “I have started providing financial consultancy services to my co-passengers while I travel in a bus to my office everyday “, Mr. Chomu told Faking News reporter.

“I travel almost 4 hours a day to reach my office which is 6 Kms away from my home.” He added. To understand how it took him so much time to cover such a small distance, CA Chomu said he watched Interstellar, a movie which proposed some confusing interconnection between love, gravity, time and distance. After the movie, Chomu realised that the eternal lack of the fifth dimension, love, in his life, was probably responsible for everything that was slow about his office commutes.

“During my travels, I noticed that the passengers often forgot to take the change from the bus conductors. The bus conductors also very conveniently forget to give them back. One day I reminded a passenger that he had to take the change from the conductor. This deed gained me respect from my co passengers and angry glances & swear words from the conductor. Everyone praised me for my deed and they got even more excited when I told them I am a CA. Immediately questions started coming about taxes and whatnot! At that moment, An Idea took place in my head”, recalls Chomu fondly.

“Now 1 year later, I have a booming business. Spending time with clients 4 hours a day feels so great. Using my Licrosoft Mumia phone and Dada Tocomo, I can even file returns in the bus itself! I have an air conditioned office “, jokes Chomu referring to the Volvo buses he travels in. “And thanks to daily interaction with so many people, I’m learning a lots of languages too! I can finally swear back at the conductors in Kannada or Telegu !”, Chomu told our reporters proudly.

Not content with this level of success, Chomu has plans to expand his business. “I’m thinking of now traveling in buses of different routes. I’ll grow my clientele by this. I just hope that traffic situation in Bangalore grows even worse. More time with people will mean more money for me as they will have no time left to do anything after traveling so much each day”, laughs Chomu.

Now that is some way to turn the Bangalore Traffic into a boon.
