In what can be called as an extra-ordinary development in the history of Indian and American education, IITs and IIMs have signed MoU with Yale University to provide 6-day degrees to the students of both Indian and American origins.

This decision has brought delight to the students who can parade around claiming to have earned graduation degree in 6 days.

When Faking News contacted the Vice-Chancellor of Yale University he responded, “Yes this is a ground-breaking step towards the process of learning earning degree. We started it as an experimental process and it turned out to be a huge success as Ms. Smriti Irani came out with flying colours and now she is the education minister of India with the 6 day degree scheme. The process to enroll for this degree is very simple, the students have to write GATE, CAT, IELTS, GRE (all) exams to get the admission and by the time they clear these exams it will be 3 years and 358 days, on 359th day their classes will begin and on 365th day they are officially declared as graduates by conducting the convocation either in White House Lawns or Mughal Gardens of Rashtrapati Bhavan”.

When Faking News tried to contact VCs of IITs and IIMs, they were really busy convincing ABVP (not AAP this time) who were protesting outside all the prestigious institutions to provide distant education in this scheme.

So, we contacted Padhakoo Chaturlingam who is an aspirant of obtaining this degree responded, “I have been waiting for this opportunity so that I can flaunt in front of my neighbours saying I have degree from same university as that of my education minister and I am not even worried about placements. Iss degree se agar koi company mein entry nahi mili toh parwa nahi parliament mein toh mil hi jaayegi”.

Meanwhile sources from White House have told Faking News that this new education scheme will be officially announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to USA in September and Barack Obama will second the motion.
