Duncan Fletcher to be Congress PM candidate for 2014 General Elections

19, Jan 2013 By fakerguru

In breaking news coming out of Congress’s Chintan Shivir, Duncan Fletcher has been unanimously selected as the next PM candidate of the Congress for 2014 elections. It is believed that Rajiv Shukla played a key role in the appointment. From the reports received, Sonia Gandhi was very happy at the proposal and gave a nod.

Rajiv Shukla, who spoke to us over the phone from Jaipur, confirmed the appointment. He said that Duncan Fletcher is a like to like replacement for Manmohan Singh. Both of them are very silent, dignified and are obedient to their masters. The most striking feature, he mentioned, was that Duncan Fletcher does not speak when there is a crisis. Duncan Fletcher’s ability to remain stoically silent at face of criticism sealed the deal for him. Mr. Shukla also said that since Duncan Fletcher is out of contract with the Indian team in March this year, he is available to take up the position.

When questioned about the Indian constitution not allowing foreigners to take up PM post, Mr.Shukla said that Shri.Kapil SIbal has been appointed as the head of a committee that will ensure a constitutional amendment at the earliest before the next General elections. He said that Mr.Fletcher would be appointed to Rajya Sabha in the NRI quota. When asked about Rahul Gandhi’s role in the future, Mr Shukla said that Rahul Gandhi will take over Sonia Gandhi’s role post the General elections.

Rahul Gandhi will be a key back room player. He said that being a Prime Minister will stop Rahul baba from going to common man’s house, having food with them, interacting with them and getting to know the prices of commodities. He said that this entire decision has been taken into consideration the strengths of all the people involved and Rahul baba himself made this suggestion. Mr. Shukla ended with this statement, “Jaise Manmohan ji Sonia ji ke liye the, waise hi Duncan ji Rahul baba ke liye.”

The incumbent PM Shri.Manmohan Singh and his replacement Mr. Duncan Fletcher both did not respond to this news. When we contacted the opposition BJP said that they are shocked to hear the news. They said they will vehemently oppose any amendment to the constitution. More news about this will follow but in the meanwhile CBI has reopened cases against Mayawati and Mulayam Singh in disproportionate assets case.
