Mumbai: Foreign investors have lined-up with multi-million dollar investments in an Indian startup which is developing an App titled ‘Auto Channel Changer”. The App automatically changes the channel on your TV as soon as an advertisement appears on it.
“My son Rachit sits in front of TV not to watch any program but only to change channels when there are ads. On an average he doesn’t spend more than 90 seconds on a single channel. After this automation, he will be free from his channel changing business and will spend time with me on our family business.”, a happy Vinay Gupta, father of Rachit, told Faking News.
The App has been inspired by the Vikalp scheme of Indian Railways wherein wait-listed passengers automatically get booking on the next train.
“We expect at least 200 million downloads in India alone for this App”, the company spokesman M Naseeruddin told Faking News,”Acting fast to get what they desire is the basic trait of smart and agile Indians. We would change lane 10 times in a drive of one kilometer and switch service providers as soon as we spot a cheaper plan for our mobile phones”.
After the success of this App the startup plans to launch another App titled “Tatkaal Dalbadal” before the 2019 general elections. Once registered on the App, candidates will be able to try their luck with multiple political parties in the order of their preference. The App has been named ‘Horse Trading App’ in English.
To get the best possible ‘winnable’ candidates all major political parties have already registered on the App. Angel investors have queued up and committed billions for the project.
“Its paradoxical that all the advertisements will now appear on this App since advertisers will not opt for TV channels. Public will have no respite from Ads after all”, a laughing Prahlad Kakkar gave his concluding observations on the topic.
