8th January, New Dehi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with party chief Amit shah announced that the world famous Tv Show, Friends will now be made in India in the name of “Mitroo”.
This decision has been taken to attract FDI. India is targeting a total FDI of 1.2 billion through this campaign.
Home Minister Rajnath singh seemed really excited about this venture and said, “Bharat ki sanskriti ko dekhte hue humne ye faisla liya hai ki friends ko hindi mei remake kiya jaega. (keeping in mind the Indian culture, we have decide to make friends in India). No Pakistanis will be involved in this entire project. ”
PM Modi has also revealed the cast and crew for “mitroo” in his rally last week and he has chosen Himesh Reshamiya to be the Director of this sitcom. “Impressed by his spectacular performance in Aap ka Suroor, I have taken this decision and it is going to benefit the poor people of country including Himesh himself. Jai mata di let’s rock.” said modi in an Interview with faking news. Since Himesh bhai is the director, all the male casts will be played by the man himself including Chandler Bing and Joey Tribbiani. He will be replacing the popular dialogue “hey…how you doin’?” with “jai mata di..how you doin’?”. This will, in his view, will keep the culture of India intact.
Also, the title track of Mitroo will remain the same as FRIENDS, keeping in mind the tradition of Indian cinema and plagiarism.
Among other lead roles, Rakhi Sawant has volunteered to play the role of Janice and has also requested for an item number with Bollywood singer Mika Singh.
The Ugly Naked Guy will be played by our very own Shakti Kapoor according to the sources. Himesh was eager to do this too, but in a Parliament session it was decided that it will only be fair if the right person does this role and it cannot be anyone else than Shakti Kapoor.
There is great joy among the people all over the nation but last night Delhi CM, Arvind Kejriwal tweeted, “Saare friends Modi ji se mile hue hain. Central Government or Central Perk desh ko loot rahe hain”.
Mamta Banerjee who was not aware of any sitcom besides Bengali ones, silently retweeted this post today morning.
Now, that the stage is set and everyone is eagerly looking forward to some hilarious performances, we cannot wait to see Himesh on screen, singing “I’ll be there for youuuuuuuuuuunnnn”.
