KANPUR: Why do film heroines avoid performing similar roles? They do not want to be typecast. The human nature never allows one to go on the same way continuously. That’s why it is often found that one gets bored with the invariable way of life. Therefore, there begins a different thinking. This very sudden sensitivity goads the person to try something fresh or novel. In almost every profession there comes a time of dreary monotony. It cannot be in general negated.

If an actress like Bhumi Pednekar is scared of portraying a similar character in the number of films she certainly needs a sitting with the psychological medical expert. She happens to have hobnobbed with the big challenge in her young life. She has played identical characters so far. These depict her as a courageous brave girl with the matching economic position. But in actual life, she is frightened by possibility of facing bleak situation due to her parallel roles. She must have been passing through the sleepless turbulent nights.

She very honestly accepts that she wants to bring improvements in her roles. How this can be feasible in her to be or not be mind. She does not desire to reject the portrayal of a small town girl role just because of being stereotyped but at the same time, her intense fear seems to check her. She should once be a participant of the programme Fear Factor underway in Spain.

This 28-year-old actress entered the Bollywood precincts by her debut film Dum Lagake Haeesha which presented her identity of a small town girl. By chance, her upcoming movies like Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and Shubh Mangal Savdhaan show her in the similar portrayal. Such films based on really relevant social topics can bring her to the pinnacle of admirations by the cinema goers.
