Narendra Modi to Appear on Indian Idol Junior

19, Aug 2013 By Kunal Kalkundri

If publicity is the name of the game , then Narendra Modi is the reigning champion in India. In a first-of-its-kind move , Narendra Modi has struck an exclusive deal with Sony Entertainment television to appear on its popular Singing reality show Indian Idol Junior.

Sources withing the Indian Idol team have confirmed to Faking News that such a deal has taken place and that they have been given strict instructions not to eliminate the Gujrati contestan Nirvesh Dave on the show.

When asked in the BJP Camp , a leader was quick to respond in saying “Narendra Bhai has recently told us during the 2014 poll strategy meet that we should focus on the First time Voters.” He later clarified after realizing that none of the contestants are above 15 years.

Another BJP leader who thinks he is close to Modi put out a different theory. He said ” The only reason Chennai Express was a hit was due to SRK appearing on all channels. That indicates that average content with good Marketing sells in India. We intend to do the same in the upcoming elections.”

On these developments ,The Information and Broadcasting Minister Manish Tewari has warned Sony of facing dire consequences. Sony officials on the other hand are least bothered as they can see the TRP’s skyrocketing with the PM-in-waiting’s presence on the show.
