After last night’s outing on Rajat Sharma’s Aap ki Adalat, Modi has managed to make Kapil Sharma insecure about losing his tag as the “Funny Man of TV”. Mr. Sharma has suffered a nervous breakdown after watching Modi’s rib-tickling interview on Aaj Tak.
The show hosted on Aaj Tak started at the prime time slot of 10 PM, and was witness to more audience than Kapil’s “Comedy Nights with Kapil” that airs at 10.30 PM on Sony.
More viewership means an absolute increasing TRP, and Mr. Sharma is threatening to sue Modi for taking over his slot.
Speaking to the Faking News reporters on Sunday, he said that by the end of the election season he was set to lose his job with more seasoned players like Pappu a.k.a. Rahul Gandhi, Mulayam Singh Yadav, Azam Khan and now, Modi coming into the fray.
He also added that while Pappu had no plans to marry (because his mother said Bahumat do) and Modi was separated from Jashodaben, he did have plans of settling down in 2014 and needed to keep his day time job.
While we sympathize with Mr. Sharma, we absolutely cannot deny that he is right in being insecure about Modi because well, who in the country isn’t? And while he’s at it, we suggest that he start looking for alternatives – perhaps, moonlighting as a politician.
