It has been more than a week now since IPL has got over, and SET Max has not shown Sooryavansham!!
Sethu Kundali, who is an ardent fan of the channel has gotten himself admitted to the hospital. Apparently, his health started deteriorating on a daily basis due to SET Max not showing a single view of their favorite movie.
“It was hard enough to not watch the movie for the entire period when IPL was being broadcasted. But this is too much. I cant take it anymore,” said Sethu, to my drunk sources.
Upon hearing this the NSUI has started a violently peaceful protest outside the SET Max offices, asking them why they have de-recognized the movie.
“We were on the way to the IIT Madras Dean’s office and heard about this, so thought, might as well finish this too, since we had time on our hands, and IIT Madras office isn’t open on Sunday anyways.”
Rahul Gandhi has furiously tweeted that the Channel is stifling the voice of Amitabh Bachchan and the Modi government is not people friendly.
Smriti Irani wanted to tweet back to Rahul Gandhi, but her Astrologer has this time, advised against it.
Arvind Kejriwal of AAP immediately sought permission to “March till the Parliament” to protest against this issue, but Najeeb Jung has quickly refused the permission, saying that such permissions will be only given in March and not in June.
SET Max Bosses were unavailable for comment. Sources say they were right now busy down south, getting dubbed South Indian flicks for the June month’s telecast.
