While the students of the FTII are making merry on the streets without going to classes and demanding a change of their current chairman Gajendra Chauhan. The parents seem to be worried about the future of their sons and daughters.
Our Faking news correspondent spoke to the leader of the parents association Mr.Iyer, who spoke to us on the promise of anonymity (which we are happy to breach) . “This is no IIT or IIM I say but FTII. My son joining a college for making films has already ruined my reputation. Must I also be embarrassed to see the children of my friends get placed in highly paying companies? While, my son will keep protesting on the street even after years. This is when I knew that I need to take the initiative to end this strike”
“I knew my baby had it, when she delightedly kicked inside my womb whenever she saw a Shyam Benegal movie”, shouted Arwinder Kaur another distraught parent. Her grandmother let her go to the course believing that the course will help us make better TV serials. What will I answer her ? She is on the death bed waiting for a 1000 episode serial from her. Must she die waiting till the strike ends. This is when I knew that I need to take the initiative to end this strike”.
Outlining the initiative Mr. Iyer mentioned that a nation wide hunt is on to search a Duryodhana and Shakuni. The idea is to lure Gajendra Chauhan to play the role of Dharmaraja.”If things go as per script; we can send that man packing at the first roll of dice when he places his Chairmanship as the wager. We are looking at Congress leadership for its outside support”, he said without divulging details.
The idea has divided Congress like never before. While Sanjay Jha, Kharge are fighting out in open to play the role of Shakuni if Rahul Baba is chosen as Duryodhana. An internal enquiry has been launched against Mr. Tharoor as he spoke his mind and called Rahul “Baby Faced” and incapable of playing tough looking Duryodhana.,
In the meanwhile street hawkers outside the college have gathered enough signatures to asking for the strike to continue. “Business has never been so good before, earlier 90% of students would flock towards our stalls, now it is 100%”, he exclaimed!
