When one of reporter inquired how Railway will verify the safety of the person, he said 1 reward points will be added automatically to ATVM Smart Cards, as soon as the person passed the station on own feet on journey basis.
These reward points can be redeemed at vadapav, bhelpoori and shengdana items from hawkers in local, It is also proposed person using 2nd Class Pass can redeem their points by travelling once in 1st Class against 1000 such points.
Chalu Jitender, state-president of WTTF (Without Ticket Travel Forum) has opposed the move saying that the above scheme is not as per Rahul Baba Inclusive growth model. The scheme has not addressed a single issue related to Ticketless people.
